Neymar In Tears As He's Carried Off On A Stretcher Following Horrific Tackle

Neymar was reduced to tears and carried off on a stretcher following a horrific tackle in Paris Saint-Germain's 1-0 defeat to Lyon.

The Brazilian star was pictured screaming in agony with a suspected serious ankle injury after suffering the blow in stoppage time.

He looked in pain as he received treatment with his teammates trying to console him during the dreadful ordeal.

It came after Thiago Mendes hacked down the PSG forward with the Lyon player given his marching orders after the match referee brandished a red card.

The French club have not confirmed the extent of the injury with Thomas Tuchel confirming that they are awaiting on medical tests.

"I saw Neymar after the match, he was calm, serene. We will now wait for the results of the exams," he said.

Speaking to French broadcasters Telefoot, the German added: "He's with the physio and the doctors and we have to wait for the tests [Monday]."

PSG slumped to their fourth league defeat of the season with Lyon climbing to second in the table, level on points with Lille.

Tino Kadewere scored the only goal of the match as PSG dropped to third in the table, one point behind Lille and Lyon with 14 games played.
