Paris Saint-Germain were held to a frustrating draw last night against RB Leipzig after the German side netted a late penalty to keep their slim hopes of qualifying from their Champions League group alive.

A late converted penalty from Dominik Szoboszlai earned the hosts a crucial point, with the temperament and application of the PSG players once again being called into question.

One such flashpoint in the match revolved around the effort and work rate of Neymar, who at one point in the game, was spotted tying his shoelaces rather than pressing the RB Leipzig defenders.

The Brazilian was also yellow-carded earlier in the match, and generally failed to make much of an impression on a night where former Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum ended up scoring both goals for the French club.

While chances did fall to Kylian Mbappe on the counter-attack, Die Roten Bullen were on top for much of the game, as PSG's tactical flaws were exposed for all to see.

This was exemplified best by the Neymar incident, with the clip below showing the 29-year-old kneeling to tie his laces as teammate Angel di Maria diligently closes down the RB backline.

For many observers on social media, it's yet another example of the attitude problem that continues to poison the PSG dressing room.

The Parisian side's manager, Mauricio Pochettino, also came in for his fair share of criticism. The Argentine's tactical plan was viewed as being very negative, which appeared to invite on pressure from RB Leipzig in the second half.

The draw sees PSG drop to second in Group A, with Manchester City now a point ahead of their opulent rivals in the battle to finish top.

The two sides are set to meet again at the Etihad in just under three weeks time.
