Sorry Mesut!

Poor Mesut Ozil. First he's part of an Arsenal team that slips up on Arsene Wenger's birthday by drawing 0-0 with Middlesbrough and now he's lost his title as the Premier League's top assister.

If there's one thing that Ozil is famous for it's his ability to set up a colleague. It doesn't even need to be on the pitch, rumour has it he's the best wing man at the Emirates, and I don't mean in comparison to Theo Walcott's ability to run on the right side of the pitch!

However the German clearly hasn't been at his usual this season as instead of setting up goals he's been scoring them. The Arsenal midfielder has three goals but no league assists.

Instead Kevin de Bruyne had been top of the charts, setting up four goals for Manchester City, along with West Ham's Dimitri Payet. However today the pair were joined by Nemanja Matic.

Matic has been in form this season and his partnership with N'Golo Kante is flourishing. His assist for Eden Hazard's goal against Manchester United put him joint top of the list of goal makers.

Everyone on the list should look out though, it won't be long till Ozil is back amongst the assists.
