Phil Neville has attempted to explain the reasoning behind Romelu Lukaku's muted goal celebration against Bournemouth.
Manchester United bounced back from the derby defeat to Manchester City by returning to the win column following the 1-0 victory versus Eddie Howe's charges in midweek.
Though it appears morale was still down from Sunday's loss.

Lukaku came under severe criticism for his performance, and the role he played in City's match-winner.
And Neville believes his low-key celebration was attributed as a result of the hangover from the derby defeat.
"The whole stadium hardly celebrated his goal," Neville said on Sky Sports' The Debate show.

Neville added: "I think there was a massive hangover from Sunday. I think there was disappointment from Romelu, who had a disappointing game.
"He was involved in the City goals and the chance he had at the end, so he did suffer a lot of criticism. Maybe it wasn't a night to celebrate.
"With what happened on Sunday it was perhaps not the right moment to celebrate.
"That hit Man Utd really hard on Sunday and there was a flatness around Old Trafford (against Bournemouth).
