Mousa Dembele Gouged Diego Costa's Eye During Spurs' Match With Chelsea

A retrospective ban has already taken Dele Alli away from Spurs for the remainder of the season and now Mousa Dembele could face the same punishment after gouging Diego Costa's eye during tonight's game with Chelsea.

Not long before half time, Dembele and Costa became involved in a scuffle in the fallout from a confrontation between Willian and Danny Rose when the Belgian midfielder jammed his finger into Costa's eye.

Fortunately for Dembele, the incident wasn't caught by any match officials (somehow) and he escaped a sending off, although he may not be so lucky in the aftermath of the match in much the same way Alli was handed a three match ban for punching West Brom's Claudio Yacob, last week.
