Celtic fans were no doubt absolutely loving Moussa Dembele's tweets during their big 5-1 win away at Rangers at Ibrox.

The Frenchman had to watch on from home as he begins his recovery from an injury picked up in the Scottish Cup semi-final at Hampden Park last week.

But he won't be too disappointed - as he was treated to a masterclass from his team-mates.

Scott Sinclair got things off to a great start as he fired beyond Wes Foderingham from the penalty spot. Then it was Leigh Griffiths - Dembele's replacement - who smashed home to make it 2-0 shortly after.

And goals from Callum McGregor, Dedryck Boyata and Mikael Lustig put the shine on a very impressive victory - with Kenny Miller grabbing a consolation for the home side.

As the goals rained in, Dembele tweeted:

Then he followed it up with this after Lustig hit the fifth:

And he wasn't having any of Chris Sutton's banter after Miller pulled one back for Rangers:

Moreover, the Frenchman also posted a Tweet in relation to an image of a Rangers fan being caught on camera performing a monkey gesture as Scott Sinclair was celebrating opening the scoring from the spot.

Dembele called out the Rangers supporter for the 'mindless gesture':

Well played, Moussa.
