Last season's Champions League final outing is a stain he can't get rid of as he continues to produce horrendous errors between the sticks.
Karius was once again the talk of Liverpool's pre-season fixture after his blunder for Borussia Dortmund's third goal. He parried the ball into the path of Jacob Bruun Larsen who found the back of the net.
Legendary Spanish keeper Iker Casillas jumped to his defence with a classy post, and now Karius' club colleague, Salah, has issued a message to the under-fire keeper.

"Stay strong Karius, it has happened to the best of players. Ignore those who hate," he wrote on Twitter.
Fellow keeper Casillas uploaded the following message after Liverpool's 3-1 defeat to Dortmund.
"Will this attack on Loris Karius ever end?

"I'm talking about him like so many other goalkeepers. There are many more serious problems in the world f***! Leave the Kid alone! He's also a person. As we all are!"
Karius himself also addressed his army of critics by penning a heartfelt message on social media.
"To those who take joy in seeing other people fail or suffer, I feel for you," he wrote on Instagram.

"Whatever it is that's happening in your life to hold this much anger and hate, I pray that it passes and good things come to you."
A lot of pressure on his young shoulders. Head up, Loris.
