Micah Richards trolled Jamie Carragher by bringing out his Premier League winners' medal on CBS Sports' Champions League coverage tonight.

Last week, Carragher completely shut down Richards on air when he said, "You wouldn't know, you've never won the Champions League," after he questioned the former Liverpool centre-back's feeling that the stars are aligning for the Reds' seventh European Cup win.

But the former Manchester City defender got his revenge this evening when there was a bit of show and tell going on in the studio.

Set up by a crown and robe wearing Peter Schmeichel, Arsenal and England women's legend Alex Scott showed off her MBE and UEFA Women's Champions League medal while Richards flaunted the Premier League medal he won in the most dramatic fashion in 2012.

Carragher has of course never won the league as a player and Richards made sure to rub it in, saying, "That's the closest you'll ever get!'" as he placed the medal on the table.

He erupted in trademark laughter before proudly wearing the medal around his neck.

Together, both Carragher and Richards have been producing utter gold for the stateside audience and CBS' decision to sign them up as a duo has been a complete and utter masterstroke.

In addition to the analysis and insight they provide, everytime they share a spot in the studio there's always a barrel of laughs and a bucketload of entertainment.

Long may it continue.
