Lionel Messi produced an outrageous assist for Jordi Alba, playing a delightful pass to his Barcelona teammate.

Messi played a big role in his side's opening goal against Osasuna on Saturday.

In the 30th minute, the 33-year-old brilliantly picked out Alba with a stunning lofted through-ball that bamboozled Osasuna's defence.

The left-back completed the move with a superb finish, smashing the ball into the back of the net to give Barcelona the lead in glorious fashion.

Messi's moment of brilliant sent social media wild.
