Kylian Mbappe has appeared to hint that his feud with Olivier Giroud is NOT over ahead of France's European Championship opener.

Les Bleus open their campaign against Germany on Tuesday and a potential cloud is looming over their massive showdown.

Giroud aimed a subtle dig at his teammates, bemoaning the lack of service during his side's friendly match against Bulgaria.

The Chelsea striker bagged a brace, but wasn't entirely happy following the game.

He said: "I was a little quiet because, sometimes, I made runs and the balls didn't come to me.

"I am not saying that I always make the best runs, but I am seeking to offer solutions in the box."

Mbappe has since stoked the flames, saying that his international colleague has affected his build-up.

"I spoke with Olivier Giroud. Everyone knows what happened. It is true that I was a little affected by it," the 22-year-old revealed via Get French Football News.

"But we are not going to make a big deal about it because we are here to represent France, that is the most important thing.

"It is more that he said it publicly than the fact that he said it. I saw him in the dressing room and he didn't say anything to me.

"He expressed a feeling that I have had 365 times during a match."

The world champions begin their Euro 2020 venture against Germany before facing Hungary then Portugal.
