Could Balo be on the move?

Mario Balotelli has been given a new lease of life under Lucien Favre in Ligue One but that hasn't stopped talk of a move away.

The Italian has of course still been prolific in collecting yellow and red cards (10 yellow and 3 red to be exact) but he's been much more consistent in his stint in France, playing a starring role as Nice achieved qualification for next season's Champions League.

Balotelli scored 17 goals in all competitions last season, with his 15 league goals giving him the highest tally he has ever recorded in a single league season in his professional career.

Yet even after having the best season of his career, Balotelli could well be on the move.

The former Manchester City and Liverpool striker only signed a one-year contract with Nice in the summer of 2016, with that deal due to expire at the end of this month.

Only last month, Spanish radio station COPE, as noted by Mundo Deportivo, reported that La Liga side Las Palmas are keen on signing the the 26-year old and have already made moves to secure his services.

And now the 26-year old's agent Mino Raiola has been talking about his client's future, and named the two clubs that are keen on signing Balotelli.

Borussia Dortmund, who sacked manager Thomas Tuchel on Tuesday, are touted as a potential destination, while Raiola also added that remaining in France but joining Marseille, who are set for a huge summer as they look to get back to the big-time, is also an option.

Speaking to Corriere Dello Sport, he said:

"Balotelli trusts me. I am picky and he knows it. Will he remain at Nice? We will see. He is wanted by Borussia Dortmund and Marseille.

"His performances at Nice have been positive, though Mario has to give much more because he doesn't have many more chances."

It could well be another big summer for Raiola, who will be tussling it with fellow super agent Jorge Mendes when it comes to getting the biggest and best deals for the players the two represent.

The two may well be the two biggest names in football who have not been on the pitch or in the technical area, given that they are behind the vast majority of the world's biggest transfers.

But if you were to assemble a team full of clients for each respective agent, who would win in a match?

Here is a look at both XI's:

Both sides are stacked with attacking talent, though they're definitely lacking in defence. Mendes certainly has the upper hand at the back though with Otamendi and Garay solid for the most part.

The pair have arguably the two most wanted goalkeepers in Manchester United's David de Gea, endlessly being chased by Real, and AC Milan's Gianluigi Donnarumma who could go for a huge fee if the teenager decides to leave the San Siro.

The midfield and strike forces on both sides suggests it would be close but the back four gives the Portuguese agent the win for us!
