Marcus Rashford was shown a red card for the first time in his career today after a clash with Burnley's Phil Bardsley.
Just after Paul Pogba had a penalty saved by Joe Hart, and mere minutes after Rashford had come on as a substitute, the United No.10 was provoked by Bardsley, himself a fellow United academy graduate.
After Rashford ran down the left and Bardsley put the ball out for a corner, he appeared to kick out at the England international.
Incensed, he put his head towards the Clarets' full-back and after players piled in to defuse the situation, John Moss dismissed Rashford but not Bardsley - angering plenty of United supporters on social media.
Like Richarlison's last week against Bournemouth, it was soft but silly from Rashford. But with a three-game ban likely on the way, he now looks set to miss Premier League games against Watford and Wolves, as well as a a Carabao Cup clash with Derby County.
