There was no way Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic was going to dress up as anything else than a crocodile for Halloween.

The Croatian has become a viral hit with his signature trick, naming his genius bit of defending after the reptile on Instagram.

Against Barcelona in a 2-0 Champions League defeat at the Nou Camp, he prevented Luis Suarez's goal-bond free-kick from hitting the back of the net by sneaking underneath the ball and blocking the effort.

Lionel Messi certainly seemed to enjoy it whilst watching on in the stands.

And so when it came to finding an outfit for Halloween, of course Brozovic had to invest in a crocodile costume and replicate his now iconic pose. Just brilliant.

Clearly, it's not a one and done thing as the 25-year old was at it again in a Serie A game last week.

He kept the gimmick strong by attempting the very same move in the 3-0 over Lazio, a match in which he scored in.

His goal was a fine driven strike from distance but there's no denying that his best moment was him going to bizarre yet superb lengths to thwart a free-kick under the wall.

Just give him the Ballon d'Or already...
