In the first leg at Anfield, Sadio Mane was screamed at by Joshua Kimmich after the German made a crucial late block to keep the score at 0-0 going into second leg.

But with Kimmich suspended for the game at the Allianz Arena last night, Mane was sensational as Liverpool knocked out the Bavarians, beating them 3-1 and advancing to the quarter finals.

The Senegalese forward has been unplayable for the Reds of late, banging in goals all over the place.

And last night he scored his spiciest goal of the season when he produced a naughty touch when Virgil van Dijk played him through, following it up by turning Manuel Neuer inside and delicately dinking the ball into the net for 1-0.

BT Sport have released new footage of the goal and we can only appreciate it more with this reverse angle. It's just an unbelievable passage of play.

Mane, who has scored in every stage of the Champions League since last term, later added a header from a Mo Salah cross to seal a convincing win for Liverpool in Germany.

Jurgen Klopp was so in awe of the "outstanding" opener from his No.10 that he said he'd have to watch it back "probably 500 times" and we're in agreement with the Red's boss to be honest. That's how good it was.

Former Southampton man Mane has 19 goals in all competitions this term and his performances have impressed Klopp so much that he's considering singing a song about him.

"It's so obvious that I don't have to speak about it," Klopp said on Mane's form, as per Liverpool Echo.

"He knows it, everybody knows it. I don't want to speak about it really.

"It's so important that these boys stay fit. Remind me after the season and I will sing my own song about Sadio Mane if you like. He's a really good footballer and long may it continue!"
