Manchester United's Zlatan Ibrahimovic is experiencing a goal drought and it could be compounded with a ban.

French outlet Le Parisien are reporting that Ibrahimovic could face retrospective action after getting involved in a minor exchange with Manchester City's Nicolas Otamendi.

United beat their fierce rivals 1-0 in the EFL cup progressing through the cup with a goal thanks to Juan Mata created by the Swede.

But the striker will be remembered for another moment during the victory. Ibrahimovic grabbed his junk a taunt aimed at the City defender. Despite being cautioned, the 35-year-old could now face a suspension.

Renown French journalist Julien Laurens writes via 101 Great Goals; The league's disciplinary committee will look into this incident. It is the first problem for Ibra in his new country, and now he can be suspended.

Harsh or fair?
