They've received some incredible gestures, including being invited to Old Trafford by Manchester United - as well as the World Cup final - though they were unfortunately unable to attend the historic game in Russia.

And, on Saturday, the team finally visited Manchester United with the club welcoming the young lads, which included meeting Jose Mourinho.

The boys have also met ex-Manchester United hero Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who surprised the team whilst on Ellen DeGeneres' The Ellen Show.

They were buzzing just to be on the sofa yet then when Ellen shouted their idol Zlatan to come out, their faces completely lit up.

The LA Galaxy striker has scored over 500 career goals and done some pretty incredible things as a player though even he couldn't help but shower them with praise for how they coped with a nightmare situation.

"I thought that I was brave, but this team is braver than me," the well-traveled Swede said.

"They showed their collective team work and had patience... believing in other hands also. This is probably the best team in the world."

Ibrahimovic high-fived every single player, gave each of them a shirt with his name on the back and then invited the brave youngsters to attend a special training session with the rest of his Galaxy teammates.
