In what is becoming a recurring theme this season, Manchester United set an unwanted record against Fenerbahce , last night in their 2-1 Europa League loss.
The poor showing in Istanbul was United's fifth consecutive away defeat in Europe, a first for the club in continental competition.
The Fenerbahce result followed defeats to Feyernoord,Liverpool,Midtjylland and Wolfsburg and leaves Jose Mourinho's team in a precarious position in their Europa League group, with six points from four games, a point behind Feyernoord and Fenerbahce.
