Manchester United Scored The Exact Same 93rd Minute Goal Against Wolves 10 Years Apart

Marcus Rashford scored a carbon copy of a goal Park Ji-Sung conjured up back in 2010.

Marcus Rashford's dramatic winner against Wolves is eerily similar to one Park Ji-Sung scored against the Molineux outfit ten years ago.

With United looking like they might be heading for a 0-0 draw, Bruno Fernandes sprayed the ball out to Rashford, who cut inside on his left foot and saw his effort deflect in off Romain Saiss - beating Rui Patricio at his near post and finally breaking the deadlock.

And it was almost a carbon copy of Park's strike against the same opposition on 6 November 2010. In similar circumstances, with United drawing 1-1 as the game entered the dying embers, the South Korean was the match-winner in the 93rd minute.

The ball was fizzed out to him on the same right flank at Old Trafford and he did the rest - dribbling into the box and squeezing his left-footed shot in at the near post.

United fan Ryan Groves took to Twitter to post a viral clip of the goal from last decade and point out the clear similarities. Same opposition, same ground, same minute, same foot and same goal.

Red Devils fans will be hoping the Rashford goal helps bring about the same outcome as Park did ten years ago. Sir Alex Ferguson's side went on to win their 19th league title, surpassing Liverpool's record of 18.

The last-gasp win, coupled with Liverpool's stalemate at Newcastle United, means Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are three points off the top with a game in hand going into 2021.

It turns out that Rashford has a knack for recreating previous United goals. In addition to replicating Park, he's done his best impression of wing wizards David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo with his efforts against Celta Vigo and Liverpool respectively.
