Manchester United are reportedly keen to prize Wesley Fofana and Youri Tielemans away from Leicester City.

United took Harry Maguire away from the East Midlands for an £80million fee in August 2019, and are now hoping to take two more of Leicester's stars away from the King Power Stadium.

Fofana is currently out of action after breaking his leg in a 3-2 friendly win over Villarreal, and is unlikely to feature again this year.

This has not put off the Red Devils though, and French magazine But! say they are still keen to acquire his services and bolster their defensive ranks even further after bringing in Raphael Varane last summer.

According to transfermarkt, the 20-year-old is valued at £36million and is under contract at Leicester until June 2025, meaning that any deal is unlikely to be a cheap one.

Meanwhile, Calciomercato reports that United are one of a host of clubs interested in signing Belgium international, Tielemans.

United, along with Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid are all monitoring the 24-year-old's progress.

Speculation has continued to circulate around the midfielder, who refused to rule out a move away from the club after reportedly turning down a new contract offer at the King Power.

"There's no update really. I'm open to everything," he said in quotes published by The Sun.

"The transfer market has just closed, but I want to keep as many options as I can open.

"As long as I'm here I will give everything for the club. I've already done so, but I will do so even more.

"The contract situation is just something that is going on in football, it's a normal situation."

Tielemans has been an ever-present figure in Brendan Rodgers' side this season after appearing in all nine of the Foxes' Premier League games.

He most recently scored in a 2-1 win away at Brentford, which followed on from his goals against Man United and West Ham United.
