Manchester United Negotiating Transfer For Manchester City Youngster With 600 Goals At Youth Level

Manchester United are keen on signing prolific striker Charlie McNeill from cross-city rivals Manchester City.
The 16-year old, who boasts a ridiculous goalscoring record of 600 goals at youth level, rejected a professional contract at the club and is now poised to move onto pastures new after seeing opportunities with the Under 18 side hard to come by.
According to Jack Gaughan from the Daily Mail, the two clubs are now negotiating what will likely be a seven-figure fee for the England youth international.
Because he is yet to turn 17, United and City must both agree a fee or the sum could be determined by a tribunal.
Knowing the potential he has, City are hoping to include several add-ons related to McNeill's performances but it remains to be seen if they are successful in securing the bonus clauses.

McNeill is a United supporter and spent the first part of his development with his boyhood club before continuing to score goals for fun at City after a 2014 switch.
European clubs RB Leipzig and Juventus have shown interest in the past, while it's said that Wolves and Leeds are also monitoring the situation closer to home.
McNeill announced his departure from City in June, posting a series of pictures from his six-year spell at the Etihad Stadium and thanking all the staff and players he worked with.
