Manchester United Fans Taunt Simon Mignolet With Steven Gerrard Chant

Manchester United mercilessly taunted former Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet with a Steven Gerrard chant after his slip.

Mignolet's Club Brugge fell to an embarrassing 5-0 defeat to Manchester United and the Belgium's misery was compounded in the second half when he slipped which prompted a savage chant.

The stopper slipped after taking a goal kick as Old Trafford erupted with a huge cheer before singing: "Are you Gerrard in disguise?"

Of course, United fans are referencing Gerrard's infamous slip at Anfield against Chelsea to allow Demba Ba run through on goal and score.

The chant didn't go unnoticed by United fans on social media.

Meanwhile, United are through to the Europa League last 16 after beating Club Brugge 6-1 on aggregate.
