Manchester United Come From Behind To Beat Spurs 3-1

Manchester United came from a goal down to stretch their unbeaten away run in the Premier League to 23 games.

The Red Devils had a Edinson Cavani strike controversially ruled out in the first half after Chris Kavanagh went to the VAR screen and deemed that Scott McTominay's brush of a hand was a foul on Heung-Min Son because it "wasn't part of his natural running movement and was careless."

Minutes later, after being on the turf, Son put Spurs 1-0 up - with United furious that they went in at half-time a goal down.

But Fred equalised after a fine, flowing team move before a second goal from Cavani - a sublime header following a delightful Mason Greenwood cross - completed another turnaround on the road for United in the 79th minute.

After his wonderful assist, substitute Greenwood rounded off the win with a right-footed shot in stoppage time.

The win means United are now 11 points behind league leaders Manchester City after they lost 2-1 at home to Leeds United at the Etihad Stadium yesterday.
