Manchester City's Pep Guardiola To Be Reunited With Lionel Messi?

Sorry City fans, not in Manchester. Pep Guardiola could be reunited with Lionel Messi after admitting his desire to manage the Argentina national team.

The Spaniard has just begun his reign at City but his star player Sergio Aguero claims Guardiola is interested in becoming the Argentina manager one day.

Aguero showered him with praise before mentioning about taking a future position with La Albiceleste. "He is an amazing guy. There is a reason he did as well as he did in Bayern and won everything. He is a winner."

"Do you remember there was talk about the national team a while ago? (Guardiola) told me: 'You guys didn't call me. I would love to coach you." He told TyC Sports.

The former Barca and Bayern boss signed a three-year contract at the Etihad and hasn't ruled out extending his stay but could the lure of international football as well as to be reunited with Messi tempt him away from club management?

Meanwhile, Guardiola will return to the Nou Camp next week when his former side host City in the Champions League.
