At this point we reckon Manchester United have cloned Robin van Persie to give us Mason Greenwood as the end result, with the 17-year old's sensational free-kick for the Under 23's last night the latest bit of evidence.
Richard Sbragia's side smashed Newcastle 5-0 at St James' Park and it was Greenwood who scored the pick of the goals in the 77th minute.
Around 30 yards out from goal, the youngster fancied his chances and stepped up. He superbly curled the ball over the wall and away from the goalkeeper's reach, into the top bins.
The goal looks even better when you look at the second angle from the stands. Inch-perfect precision.

It's the third free-kick scored this season by Greenwood, who is so gifted with either foot that no-one is quite sure which one is the strongest.
He has no problem taking set-pieces with his left or right, notably scoring two with his latter foot in the 3-2 Premier League Cup quarter final win over Liverpool.

He has already been compared to former United hero Van Persie due to his near-identical touch and running style, while manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has regularly sung his praises, affording him cameo opportunities off the bench in recent times.
His most memorable saw him become the youngest player to represent the club in Champions League competition in the thrilling round of 16 second leg win over Paris Saint-Germain last month.
Hilariously, the starlet's appearance was so unexpected that United's kitman had to use Paris Saint-German's numbering and letters hours before kick-off.
A day later after the memorable triumph, Greenwood was back at Ashton on Mersey School, where he is completing his studies alongside his career in the academy.
