Manchester United Would Be 15th In The Premier League Without Bruno Fernandes' Goals And Assists

Manchester United are so reliant on talisman Bruno Fernandes that they would be 15th if you excluded his goal involvements.

After his sublime equaliser against West Brom on Sunday, the Portugal international now has 14 goals and nine assists in the Premier League this term.

And one fan has dissected the stats that show where United would be if they didn't have the former Sporting CP midfielder in their ranks.

He's worked out that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would have won just six out of their 24 games this term, drawing nine and losing the same amount.

Currently in second on 46 points, he reckons United would be meandering in 15th place if you take away Fernandes' contributions.

It is worth noting, however, that it doesn't work out out getting rid of Fernandes and you'd have to consider that another player would provide in his absence.

Still, it just goes to show how important Fernandes is to United. If their main creative source has an off day, it's hard to see who else can carry that burden.

Solskjaer and Fernandes appeared to have a disagreement during the draw at the Hawthorns, with the manager telling his star man to use the space on the right.

Fernandes felt the space was in the middle but Solskjaer replied: "That is Antho's [Martial] space."
