Man United fans are buzzing with excitement about the prospect of the five-time Ballon d'Or winner plying his trade back at Old Trafford this season.
But not everyone at the club shares the same emotion, with Man United supporter Dave slamming his side's decision to snap up the Portuguese superstar.
He even reckons they should have signed Ings, who joined Aston Villa from Southampton earlier this summer.
Dave told talkSPORT: "I don't think we should have signed Ronaldo to start with."

Ronaldo was heavily linked with a stunning move to cross-town rivals Manchester City before Man United made their move.
Dave added: "I was quite happy for him to go to City, I think we should have signed Danny Ings.
"He's too slow, he's not going to work hard enough for us. Whereas Danny Ings works his backside off for his team.
"I don't give a damn, I loved Ronaldo when I watched him play, I loved him! But now is the wrong time."
Ings, 29, has bagged two league goals for Villa since his reported £25 million transfer.
