Manchester City's 2018/19 Home Kit Is Basically The Same As 2016/17's
In recent years, sportswear giant Nike have become incredibly lazy with their kit designs.
Often the manufactures have come up with one template and then adapted it for several of their teams - you'll remember that a few years back the likes of Inter Milan, Juventus, PSG, Barcelona and Galatasaray all had the same third kit just in different colours.
While Nike have knocked it out of the park with their designs for Nigeria and China, they have reached peak new levels of laziness when it comes to Manchester City's new home kit for next season.
Footy Headlines have published images of the 2018/19 strip and it's pretty much the same design from Pep Guardiola's first season at the helm - only with a button and different coloured shorts and socks.
The stripes on the sleeve are a bit jazzier but it's unbelievably repetitive from Nike in their final year as City's kit maker. City fans been very vocal about it on social media:
Luckily we've already all got that one a year or so ago! That's saved some cash!- Crookiemonster (@crookdpc) May 8, 2018

So much the same as 2 years ago? Get rid of Nike already.- Derek Kudjer (@koojababy) May 8, 2018
City have been heavily rumoured to be penning a deal with PUMA as their next kit supplier and you get the feeling they'd do a better job than the current creators.
