Pep Guardiola was involved in bit of beef in the tunnel with Wigan manager Paul Cook at half-time in the shock 1-0 defeat to the League One side a couple of weeks back, but his anger continued into the dressing room - with one player getting a dressing down from the City boss.
According to James Ducker from The Telegraph, City players were left stunned over their manager's angry outburst at winger Leroy Sane.
The German was playing his first game back after being out with an ankle ligament injury suffered in the previous round against Cardiff and Guardiola was not happy with his performance in the first half.
He felt the 22-year old was not pulling his weight at the DW Stadium and not following instructions - and the Catalan proceeded to let him know by dishing out the hairdryer treatment.
One source even told The Telegraph that Guardiola's enraged eruption directed at Sane could be heard from a corridor outside the changing room.
Sane was hauled off in place of Kyle Walker for 10-man City, though the England right-back made the costly error for Will Grigg's surprise winner when he let the ball run past him.
Guardiola criticised Sane for making "defensive mistakes" in the 4-1 FA Cup win against Burnley in January, while he explained that the former Schalke man wasn't a starter in the first few games because "he did not arrive good" after pre-season.
Despite the fiery confrontation, Sane retained his place for the Carabao Cup final against Arsenal and put in a very good performance in the 3-0 victory at Wembley.

Sane has 11 goals and 12 assists in all competitions but when he doesn't meet the standards expected, Pep makes sure he knows about it.
