Today wasn't a great day for Gabriel Jesus. Playing against Argentina in front of 95,000 people at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, the 19-year old sensation missed an open goal when presented with a glorious opportunity to equalise in the 62nd minute.

And it got worse when in stoppage time, he was forced off on a stretcher following a collision with club teammate Nicolas Otamendi, who was playing in the heart of the Argentine backline.

As the former Valencia man rose to get the better of his City colleague in the air and head the ball, he caught Jesus with an elbow.
