Nothing you read in this article is true, and it paints Adebayor to having the worst job interview ever.
Adebayor has been without a club since leaving Crystal Palace last season, but looked to have found a potential suitor in French side Lyon.
However the move did not materialise, with the Togo striker claiming that the Ligue 1 side didn't sign him up because of his intentions of playing in the African Cup Of Nations in January.

But Lyon boss Bruno Genesio apparently has a very different reason for why Adebayor did not pen to paper when talks were held.
Speaking to The Sun, he details the talks and it doesn't reflect too well on the former Arsenal, Manchester City and Spurs striker.
"We had a place in our squad for Manu, so I arranged to meet him for a coffee in Lyon. But, to my surprise, when he arrived he asked for a shot of whisky in his coffee. He also had a cigarette hanging out of his mouth."

As you're often told before going to a job interview wearing a three-piece suit for a job, first impressions mean everything and Adebayor definitely didn't give Genesio the greatest feeling during talks, it seems.
Adebayor has since denied the claims and it appears as though the story was fake.
"What followed confirmed my first impression that there was no room for him at our club." he added.
Should have just asked for a glass of water Emmanuel, that always does the trick.(h/t the Mirror)
