Manchester United's Luke Shaw is eyeing up the friendly against Borussia Dortmund next month for his return to football.

United are set to travel to China as part of their pre-season tour, where they head to Shanghai facing Borussia Dortmund on July 22nd. The 20-year-old was performing wonders for The Red's building momentum as he unearthed his potential until he suffered a gruesome double-leg break against PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League back in last September.

His showing in the league and in European competition was slowly but surely justifying his £27 million price tag before his unfortunate injury.

Shaw took to Twitter to update his fans on his road to recovery.

After originally targeting the FA Cup Final as his return to action, Shaw was then ruled out for their eventual 2-1 victory over Crystal Palce, he'll now set his sights on the Bundesliga outfit, according to the MEN.

The left-back also broke into the England team, earning six caps thus far, as he'll be keen to impress new boss Jose Mourinho ahead of the impending new Premier League campaign.
