Luke Shaw has responded to a fan who reckons he should be winning the Ballon d'Or for his excellent performances this term.
The left-back has been in sensational form for Manchester United and has got himself back into England contention as a result.
He looks a shoo-in for the PFA Team of the Year but one of his biggest fans wants his displays to be recognised even further - leading to them mocking up a picture of him holding the Ballon d'Or.
Asked for his thoughts on Twitter, Shaw shouted out teammate Bruno Fernandes. "That doesn't look like Bruno Fernandes," the former Southampton man tweeted, with an eyes emoji.
Fabio Cannavaro is the last defender to win the Ballon d'Or, having scooped the prestigious prize in 2006 after playing an integral role Italy's World Cup win in Germany.

Shaw has been superb both defensively and going forward and easily brushed off the challenge of Alex Telles, who joined from Porto in the summer transfer window.
His all-action displays up and down the left flank have prompted United fans to liken him to legendary Brazilian Roberto Carlos, who many view as the best left-back in history.
But when quizzed about it recently, 'Shawberto Carlos' played down the comparisons to the Brazil and Real Madrid icon.

"I'll be honest I've seen some things on it on social media and sometimes in my group chats my mates send me some stuff and I just laugh about it!" Shaw told ManUtd.com.
"I can't be compared to him, he was unbelievable!
"I'm aware of it and it's nice to be even mentioned alongside his name, but I just laugh about it!"
Shaw's interesting pre-match routine was caught on camera prior to the Europa League semi-final second leg against AS Roma on Thursday.
Responding to a tweet asking what he was doing, Shaw said: "I always do it [sic] maybe first time camera has caught me."
