Romelu Lukaku Gives A Brilliant Response To Criticism About His Physique

Manchester United star Romelu Lukaku has fired back over criticisms he has received for his physique.

Dubious images have recently surfaced online of the 25-year-old Belgian international, showing what he looked like during his first season at the Red Devils and his physical appearance now.

However, the former Everton and Chelsea striker seems unfazed by the criticism he has been getting from football fans.

"Criticism about my physique? That's some BS! Yeah, that's some BS," he told Bleacher Report.

"I'm one of the strongest players in the league. I never get injured. I'm always there, so what's the problem?"

Well, that is one way of silencing his harshest critics.

Lukaku's second season at the club has dramatically fallen short of most fans' expectations, especially as the United striker hasn't scored at Old Trafford since March.

José Mourinho's third season at the club has been far from brilliant, with United failing to pick up a win against Crystal Palace over the weekend. With the Red Devils walking away from the match with a 0-0 draw, it leaves the club closer to the bottom of the Premier League than the top.

United host Young Boys at Old Trafford on Tuesday night in the Champions League, with a win securing qualification to the knockout stages for the club.

However, the Special One has fired out a warning to his players ahead of the clash.

"If you feel pressure, stay at home -- and when I say home, I don't say stadium home, I say home-home and watch on TV," he said (via Sky Sports).

"If you feel pressure to play matches at home where the people come to support... come on.

"I never felt pressure to play at home."
