Having been awfully quiet in the round of 16 first leg, Suarez was even worse as Atleti were knocked out of the Champions League at Stamford Bridge.
The Uruguayan led the line in West London but was hauled off for Angel Correa 59 minutes into the game after offering nothing in attack.
He cut a frustrated figure as he left the pitch and sat in the stands.

Pocketed by Antonio Rudiger, the man who he had a spat with in the first leg, Suarez managed just 19 touches in total and completed six out of nine attempted passes.
Not impacting the game in any shape of form, the 34-year-old failed to complete a take-on, create a single chance or register a shot on target.

Another underwhelming #UCL performance. :grimacing: pic.twitter.com/sTe3XdR9NV
The former Liverpool and Barcelona man has delivered the goods domestically with 18 goals in La Liga for the league leaders but he's still searching for his first European goal since moving to Diego Simeone's side.
But even worse, Suarez has now gone 25 consecutive Champions League away games without finding the net. You have to go back to September 2015 in a 1-1 draw against AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico for his last goal on the road in Europe's premier club competition.
That was exactly 2009 days ago.

It is worth noting he did score against Bayern Munich at a neutral ground but for a world-class player who has achieved so much in the game, it's a truly wretched drought he's experiencing.
Atleti were eliminated courtesy of a 3-0 aggregate scoreline in Chelsea's favour, with Hakim Ziyech and Emerson Palmieri adding to Olivier Giroud's first leg stunner.
Stefan Savic was sent off late on for an elbow towards Rudiger's stomach.
