Liverpool players Mohamed Salah and Dejan Lovren have formed an unlikely bromance and starred in a brilliant sit-down for the club's YouTube channel.

The pair asked each other several questions and one that Lovren really wanted to know the answer to was why Salah has barely cracked a smile whenever he's scored this season despite being a pretty cheerful fella.

Salah boasts an incredible tally of 44 goals in 51 games in all competitions in 2017/18, each time stretching his arms out.

On the final day of the Premier League season, Lovren imitated his colleague by performing the very same celebration when he headed home against Brighton - leading to a bit of back and forth banter between the two on Instagram.

That banter continued in this video for LFCTV, with Salah asking the Croatian why he stole his celebration.

It prompted the former Southampton to ask Salah why he rarely smiles after he scores.

"Why do you always celebrate the same, can I ask you?" he asked the 25-year old.

"Not the same way. Show me. I have more celebrations, more than Bobby [Firmino]." Salah responded.

"Yes I know, but every celebration you never smile," Lovren said. "Because you're not happy to score a hat-trick or what?"

"It just became something normal," Salah joked before stressing that he is happy when he finds the net.

"This is too arrogant. No, no. No, I'm always happy when I score, to be honest."

Whether he's beaming delight or it's simply business as usual, like the famous Balotelli quote about Postman delivering letters, Liverpool fans won't mind one bit, especially if their record-breaking No.11 is on it in Kiev in the Champions League final against Real Madrid on Saturday.
