Louis van Gaal's dream job is to be the head of Ajax's famed youth academy, according to Dutch manager Co Adriaanse.
It seems like the speculation surrounding the Manchester United gaffer's future has been around forever. And it's showing no sign of stopping following yesterday's disappointing 3-0 defeat to Tottenham at White Hart Lane.
But maybe United fans will finally see van Gaal leave the club once the top job in Ajax's youth academy becomes available.

The 64-year-old boss has a contract with United until the end of next season, but failure to secure Champions League football at the end of the current campaign could see him leave before then.
And it seems the Ajax head of youth role would be ideal as van Gaal's next move, according to Adriaanse:
Adriaanse and van Gaal obviously know of each other as their managerial careers have ran a similar path from Holland into Europe.

Adriaanse was actually succeeded at AZ Alkmaar in 2005 by van Gaal and is believed to be a friend of the United boss.
What could interest United fans even more about his comments is that Ajax are currently looking for a new head of youth development at the club:
Van Gaal is obviously well known to Ajax given the time he's spent there as a coach and technical director.

He was assistant manager for three years between 1988 and 1991 before taking over as boss and leading the club to three league titles, one Dutch Cup and a Champions League trophy - all with a very youthful squad.
Van Gaal's most recent stint in Amsterdam came in 2004 when he was brought in as technical director, but he didn't last a year due to an internal conflict with then-boss Ronald Koeman.
