Mohamed Salah completed a rapid and devastating counter-attack for Liverpool as they beat West Ham 3-1 on Sunday.

Salah scored his side's second goal in sublime fashion after opening the scoring at the London Stadium.

Defending a corner, Liverpool cleared their lines with Trent Alexander-Arnold pinging a cross-field pass to Xherdan Shaqiri.

The Swiss midfielder brilliantly picked out Salah who produced two spectacular touches to find the back of the net.

He killed the ball dead with his right foot before poking the ball with his left foot past Lukasz Fabianski in a tremendous sequence that wrapped up the victory.

Sky Sports commentator Gary Neville lauded Salah's "special" touch.

One social media user branded it the "goal of the season."

A West Ham fan tweeted: "What are we meant to do against that."

A third added: "Ridiculous counter attack and fitness levels."

Liverpool added a third when Georginio Wijnaldum scored, with West Ham grabbing a consolation through Craig Dawson.

The defending English champions move to third place, one point behind Manchester United and four points adrift of league leaders Manchester City
