Liverpool's New Goalkeeper Alisson Makes Classy Gesture To Loris Karius
It appears Alisson is not only a great keeper but also a classy guy.
The brilliant Brazilian was snapped up by Liverpool who fended off fierce competition from Chelsea and Real Madrid to land the AS Roma keeper.
Liverpool secured his services ahead of the new season by tabling a world record deal (£62 million) for a goalkeeper.
He's expected to replace Loris Karius in goal for Liverpool's opening Premier League fixture against West Ham United.
Despite being drafted in to become the clubs new No.1, Alisson will reportedly turn down the No.1 shirt out of respect to Karius.
The German currently wears the No.1 jersey at Liverpool, but Alisson is set to opt for the No.13 shirt according to Brazilian outlet UOL.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Alisson took part in his first Liverpool training session, and made an instant impression by producing heroics between the sticks.
He pulled off a stunning save to the delight of Liverpool fans.
