Liverpool Two-Up Against Man United Inside 13 Minutes After A Series Of Defensive Mistakes

Manchester United committed a series of woeful defensive mistakes as Liverpool raced into a two-goal inside just 13 minutes.

Mohamed Salah picked out Naby Keita, who slotted past David De Gea in the fifth minute to open the scoring at Old Trafford.

The opening came after Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Victor Lindelof were dragged out of position, with Harry Maguire being attracted to the ball.

Luke Shaw was the only Man United player back as Salah took a few touches to compose himself before setting up Keita for Liverpool's first goal.

Man United's defensive woes continued moments later as Maguire and Shaw's indecision saw Keita play it out to Trent Alexander-Arnold who slid a pass to Diogo Jota, who slotted home from close range.

Things got worse for Man United before the break as Salah made it 3-0 then 4-0.

Salah completed his hat-trick in the second half as Liverpool thrashed Man United 5-0.

The huge win moves Jurgen Klopp's team to second in the league, while the crushing defeat leaves Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's in seventh place.
