Spirits in the Liverpool camp may be sky high after Thursday's miraculous comeback victory over Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League quarter-final, but the victory has come at a price, with news breaking this morning that Emre Can suffered an injury during the match that will sideline him for the remainder of the season.
The German midfielder ruptured ankle ligaments, an injury that will keep him out of action for at least four weeks, missing both legs of the Europa League semi-final against Villareal and a potential appearance in the final, should Liverpool get there.
It's a headache Jurgen Klopp could seriously do without, bearing in mind his captain Jordan Henderson is also unavailable for the rest of the campaign.
