Liverpool secured qualification to the Champions League (via a play-off) on Sunday, with their 3-0 win over Middlesbrough at Anfield seeing the Reds pip Arsenal to fourth place.

It's a vital achievement for the club to be back in Europe's premier competition, and the talk is that Liverpool will be spending big in the summer in order to improve their squad considerably.

Chris Bascombe from The Telegraph reports that Jurgen Klopp will have funds upwards of £100 million in the summer, and shedded some light on the club's top targets for the summer window.

Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk has attracted interest from a number of the Premier League's big guns and he is believed to be a target for Liverpool - even if they may have to cough up a club record £50m for his services.

In midfield, RB Leipzig's Naby Keita is another name who has been heavily linked with Liverpool. The midfielder has been instrumental in Leipzig's excellent first season in the Bundesliga that saw them achieve qualification for the Champions League, and Klopp is a fan of what the 22-year old brings to the table.

Liverpool have also reignited their interest in Roma winger Mohamed Salah, according to reports.

The Reds were desperate to land the Egyptian winger back in 2014, before he was signed by Jose Mourinho and Chelsea after a couple of impressive displays against the Blues when playing for Swiss side Basel in the Champions League.

He endured a nightmare stint at Stamford Bridge though, making just 19 appearances and subsequently being loaned out to both Fiorentina and Roma.

Having signed permanently for Roma in a £16m deal in the summer, he's been in fine form this season, scoring 19 goals and contributing further with 12 assists in all competitions.

The possible addition of Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has also been strongly rumoured, while the consensus is that Klopp hasn't given up hope on signing Borussia Dortmund starlet Christian Pulisic. The United States international signed a new deal not too long ago but he's again being linked with a move to Anfield.

The final note in the Liverpool transfer report is that a "world-class striker" has been made a priority for the 2017/18 campaign, and that the club are exploring several different options.
