Liverpool Hero John Arne Riise Absolutely Shreds Mike Dean

It was the Mike Dean show as West Ham hosted Manchester United. The much-maligned referee once again took center stage, and he came under intense criticism including former Liverpool favourite John Arne Riise.

United eventually beat West Ham 2-nil but had a help-in-hand from the man in the black as well as his linesman.

Dean controversially issued a straight red card for West Ham's Sofiane Feghouli early in the first half with the score goalless.

The decision appeared to be extremely harsh, and on second viewing it proved so. A yellow card at the most.

Following the restart, goals from Juan Mata and Zlatan Ibrahimovic (another poor piece of officiating - offside) secured all-three points.

But Dean's display remained the main takeaway from the game with Riise clearly angry by his decision making.

And he wasn't done there..
