He also made a big error in an Under 23's game.

You are forgiven for not being aware that Adam Bogdan is still currently contracted to Liverpool because I had forgotten he existed, to be honest.

The Hungarian goalkeeper has just returned from a lengthy on the sidelines following a ruptured cruciate ligament injury suffered on loan at Wigan Athletic in November 2016.

Now fourth choice goalkeeper at Anfield, with both Loris Karius, Simon Mignolet and Danny Ward all ahead of him in the pecking order, he made his return to action in an Under 23's game against Middlesbrough last night, along with Nathaniel Clyne.

Bizarrely, just before the game, which Liverpool lost 3-1, he posted an image of a Manchester United flag on his Instagram story, complete with the caption: "Keep the red flags flying high, Man United will never die!".

It was swiftly deleted but of course it was picked up on by the internet.

How on earth has that happened?! Has he been hacked? Has one of his representatives put it out on the wrong account? SO. MANY. QUESTIONS.

It was a very bad gaffe, but not the worst one the 30-year old made last night as his biggest error of the day came in the game itself. 37 minutes in, he spilled a free-kick and allowed Mitchell Curry to tap into an empty net for his second goal.

Arguably the worst ever Liverpool signing despite arriving on a free transfer, you'd be surprised if he ends up playing for the first-team again.
