How much power does Lionel Messi have at Barcelona? You find yourself reading a number of reports on how big a say he has in decisions when it comes to recruitment and there's another one to add to the collection.

According to Spanish outlet Don Balon, Messi has 'warned' his club about signing Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus.

Ever wondered what a team of Messis would be like? One YouTuber experimented on FIFA 17.

There's no denying Reus' talents, but his career has been stunted by a mixture of niggling and frequent long-term injuries - something that has arisen again this season, with the former Borussia Monchengladbach man making 21 appearances, scoring 11 goals.

Barcelona, who will have a new manager in place next season when Luis Enrique departs, have their eye on a number of players in order to improve their squad in the summer.

According to another Spanish outlet in the form of Mundo Deportivo, the club have drawn up a shortlist of five players to be signed in the summer, even though they don't know who their new manager will be in for next season.

As per the report, Hector Bellerin, Theo Hernandez who is reportedly on Marco Verratti, Philippe Coutinho and Gerard Deulofeu are the players they hope to bring in this summer.

Dani Alves' recent performances for Juventus aligned with Enrique's need to play Sergi Roberto in that role this season has shown how important it is that they bring a right back in this summer. Signing Bellerin, a Barca youth product, makes sense for all sorts of reasons but he probably won't come cheap.

On the other side of defence, Theo Hernandez is a talented young left back with a 24 million euro release clause. Recently reports emerged that Hernandez to Real Madrid was a done deal, and that he had already completed a medical with Los Blancos.

Moreover, Barca need more creativity and options in midfield, and Verratti and Coutinho would provide that, although whether signing them both is advisable is another question considering the need to get Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar all in the same side.

Deulofeu remains the most likely to make the move. Barca have a 12 million euro buy back clause on the Spanish winger and his performances whilst on loan with AC Milan and a need for more options up front make him a good bet for a return.

Who do you think Barca should buy?
