Lionel Messi Fittingly Lifts The La Liga Trophy On His Own

Lionel Messi pretty much won La Liga on his own this season so it's only right that the five-time Ballon d'Or lifted the trophy on his own.
The Argentine ace came off the bench at the Nou Camp last night to score his 34th league goal of the season and become a ten-time La Liga winner, overtaking his former teammate Andres Iniesta.
Messi then lifted his first La Liga trophy as skipper but bizarrely he actually raised it aloft by himself, with his teammates behind him, before the title celebrations properly got under way.
When Messi made his Barcelona debut, Real Madrid had 11 trophies more than the Blaugrana. Fast forward to the present day and having scored nearly 600 goals for Barca, Barca are now three ahead in the trophy hunt.
The fifth best player in the world has done alright in Catalonia hasn't he?
