Marko Arnautovic is playing through the pain barrier but still delivering the goods for West Ham United.

The Austrian has four goals in seven Premier League games this season despite an ongoing knee problem, but is still on course to play in the Irons' visit of Tottenham this weekend.

And on Twitter today, West Ham shared a video of a limping Arnautovic, back from international duty, smacking one against the crossbar from the halfway line.

The former Stoke City forward drops the ball into his hands and then hits the woodwork perfectly on the volley as his teammates watch on. He then casually trots away for a jog as if it was the easiest thing in the world.

But the concerning thing for West Ham fans is of course how gingerly he is moving, as he does not look fully fit at all.

But while manager Manuel Pellegrini says West Ham's No.7 has to manage his knee, he's eased fears over the injury suffered in August.

"Marko is okay, he worked when he returned from the squad, he played just one game," the Chilean told a press conference, as per football.london.

"He worked with the squad without any problems, he must be careful with his knee but it allows for him to play games."

Arnautovic only played one of Austria's games in the international break, scoring in the 1-0 win over Northern Ireland before returning to East London.

Hammers fans will be hoping he'll be on top form once again at the London Stadium tomorrow.
