On the same weekend that Premier League football, so did Ligue One over in France and the campaign kicked off with one of the very best team goals in recent memory.

Already 1-0 up against Bordeaux after Ibrahima Sissoko found the net in the 68th, 10 minutes on the visitors bagged a glorious second - setting the bar with a goal dripping in skill and technique.

Jonas Martin is the absolute star of the move. After receiving the ball from a throw-in on the right, he conducts the play with not one, not two, but THREE wonderful one-twos before darting into the box and squaring it for a simple tap-in for Nuno da Costa at the far post.

The speed and precision of the one-touch play is sublime and that killer pass to send Martin in behind is marvellous. It's poetry in motion stuff.

Ousmane Dembele, Raheem Sterling, Bernardo Silva and Ruben Neves all scored absolute worldies this weekend but this free-flowing move has to take the cake.

Having said that though, Andres Iniesta's first goal for Vissel Kobe may well rival it. The former Barcelona midfielder scored the most magnificent goal against Jubilo Iwata in the J-League fixture, rolling back the years with a scrumptious turn that left the defender flat on his arse.

The Spaniard, remaining cool and calm as ever, rounded goalkeeper Naoki Hatta and opened the scoring with arguably one of his greatest goals.
