Claudio Ranieri has gradually become the most popular man in world football after his heroics managing Leicester City into the Champions League and a likely Premier League title victory. However, it isn't just the Italian's skills as a manager that have made him so widely loved by football fans. He's also a man of the people who regularly takes time out for his fans.

Prior to this miraculous stint as Leicester manager, Ranieri's previous experience of Premier League football was the four years he spent at Stamford Bridge in charge of Chelsea. Despite being well liked in the capital, 'The Tinkerman' incurred the impatient wrath of then new chairman Roman Abramovich, who dismissed the Italian at the end of his first season as Chelsea owner, claiming he wasn't a manager capable of lifting the Premier League title. Oh how times change, Roman.

Anyway, I digress, it was during Ranieri's time at Stamford Bridge that he received a letter from Blues fan Phil Lucas who, rather randomly, wanted to know which of The Muppets was Ranieri's favourite. Rather than ignore the slightly left field request for the Italian coach's preference of Jim Henson characters, 'The Tinkerman' was only too happy to respond.
