Jamie Vardy's Cinderella story from non-league striker to Premier League champion has taken it's toll on his private life.

The Leicester City star has revealed he is forced to move house because pranksters keep ringing the door bell at 3 (!!) in the morning as well as the the good ol' knock and run.

He's set to walk away from his luxury pad for some much needed "peace and quiet." Despite living in the "middle of nowhere", his current residence in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, is subject to the odd classic joke.

Vardy and pregnant wife Rebekah are hoping for a normal, family life with their four kids.

The idea of moving place came as a result of their incredible Premier League triumph last season after thousands of fans flocked to his drive, with it being no secret to where he lives, saying; "Everyone does! Police had to shut the road off."

While addressing the ongoing disturbances; "At the moment we don't get it. We've got locals ringing the doorbell at three in the morning."

The 29-year-old frontman can't even take his poor kids to the local play area without being mobbed by fans; "I can't take the kids to the local play centre, (I'd) just get mobbed by fans. We try us hardest to give the kids as normal a life as possible, but with someone coming up every two minutes asking for a picture or an autograph, it's hard."
