Tributes continues to pour in for Claudio Ranieri following his sacking from Leicester City. It's taken a few days but the players are finally penning their farewell messages.

From Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez and Wes Morgan, to name but a few. Though some of Ranieri's former players are using social media to convey their happiness at his departure.

Case in point: Shinji Okazaki.

(Leicester City's Schmeichel, Ranieri and Okazaki give a traditional Thai greeting upon their arrival in Thailand)

The Japanese striker enjoyed a brilliant debut season in the Premier League. He featured in all but two league games, bagging five goals while playing an important role for the Foxes.

(Here's one of Ranieri's finest moments - dilly dong!)

But fast forward a year and the club are sitting very precariously in the league with their top-flight status in danger. Though they still have a chance to progress in the Champions League, despite losing in their first leg. Though Jamie Vardy's crucial away-goal gives them a glimmer of hope.

Meanwhile, Okazaki joined Leicester in 2015 and appears to be happy with the Italian departing the King Power Stadium after liking the clubs Instagram post detailing his sacking.

In the summer, Ranieri splashed the cash to draft in Islam Silmani from Sporting Lisbon which dropped Okazaki further down the striking pecking order.
